The Haskills have lived out there for generations, keeping mostly to themselves, except for peddling what meats and meager wares they could sell in the name of family business. There are stories about the Haskills—some whispered like folk tales, some sworn to be true. Strange noises after dark. Something lurking in the woods. Missing livestock. People who took a shortcut and never came back. Ask the Haskills, and there’s a perfectly good explanation for all of it.

This October, find the courage to slip past the gate and follow the Haskills home.
