The Four Scythes Haunted Attraction is now recruiting for the 2024 Haunt Season!

The Four Scythes Haunted Attraction is built and run entirely by volunteers.  We have a great time while raising thousands of dollars for local charities in our community.  However, all this entertainment can not happen without the help of volunteers like you.

Volunteering at Four Scythes Haunted Attraction gives you an opportunity to make some new friends while learning and working in the haunt industry.  At the end of the season we have a wrap party to unwind and recognize everyone who gave it their all.

Four Scythes Haunted Attraction offers a fun, friendly and safe environment to volunteer and serve our community.  We are seeking responsible and reliable volunteers who will work well with our team.  You must share our passion for delivering a positive and memorable experience for each guest, every time. 

We are looking to fill the following Roles:
Positions are available for all levels of experience

• Set Design/Build Team -  Tasks can be anywhere from using power tools, creating saw dust, painting, and set/prop creation.  If you are available anytime now through October to get the haunt ready, please attend any of our work parties. 
• Make-Up Artists/Costume -  Assist with painting faces, sfx makeup, creating and making costumes, etc. to bring the characters to life with your talent. Experience is a plus!  To help or join a training session:
• Actors -  Bring sets to life with your creepiness, make it memorable for all the guests.  (Specific acting assignments are decided each evening depending on our needs.)
• Guest Services – Not into blood, guts and gore but have plenty of volunteer spirit?  You can help with ticketing, customer relations, line managers and more.  Assist in keeping the haunt in order and running smoothly.
• Security – Safety is the # 1 priority of our staff and guests.  Join a great security team, duties include security camera monitor, zone control throughout the haunt, fire/safety watch and crowd control.
• Set Up and Tear Down – Not only do we need help bringing the sets to life, we need help laying them to rest.  Every year we have to set up and tear down the haunt and pack it away into trailers.  This requires a good amount of labor and muscles.  But before this happens, we have to breakdown and pack up into boxes all the props and set décor.  Bring your friends, we have a lot of fun!

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST ATTEND AN ORIENTATION AND TRAINING! Details will be posted closer to the season starting.

We Feed our Monsters Dinner all 15 nights we are open. We also provide snacks and drinks throughout the night.

Basic Requirements:

• You must be at least 16 years or older, unless arrangements have been made with haunt owners and parents.
• Arrive no later than 6:00 pm on the nights you have committed to.
• When you arrive, be ready to give it your all.  Our roles are very demanding and require lots of energy.
